DON’T FORGET OUR CHRISTMAS FAIR IS ON FRIDAY 2nd DECEMBER, 3.30PM – 5.30PM.
Raffle tickets:
Don’t forget to bring your raffle tickets back. If you want more just ask. There will be more available on the door at the Christmas fair. A Christmas hamper will be the first prize!
Elf on the Shelf:
The last chance to book Elf on the Shelf is Monday 28th November. This will take place at the Christmas Fair where our Elf on the Shelf will be available for you to take your own pictures. There will even be a gift for every child.
Virtual Santa:
The last chance to book for a Virtual Santa slot is Tuesday 29th November. This will take place in school where Santa will chat to your child all the way from the North Pole! Fortunately he will send over gifts in advance so each child will have something to bring home!

Please find attached an updated events list for this term. The changes are highlighted in yellow.
Non-uniform for hampers/tombola:
Thank you for all your support today. We will be able to have lovely tombola prizes as well amazing raffle hamper prizes.
Silent Auction:
I have attached a poster highlighting the gifts available to bid for in the silent auction. Next week slips will be available for you to write out your bid. These will then be put into a box until the night of the Christmas Fair. After this the highest bid will win the gift. Bids must be no less that £5.00. Good luck!
Tickets for Christmas performances:
Tickets for the Christmas Nativities and concerts will be issued next week. You will get 2 tickets per family for each performance. Everyone attending the events will need a ticket including siblings. The tickets will need to be handed in on arrival. No extra tickets will be issued.
Film Night:
Thank you to everyone who supported our film night on Tuesday. The children were beautifully behaved, had a great time and enjoyed tasty cookies! Thank you SMASH!
Tea-time Club:
There will be a number of events happening in Tea time Club leading up to Christmas. There is no need to book in for a specific day as if you miss an activity you can always do it on another day. However I’m sure this will be popular so make sure you book the days you need soon.
Tesco Community Tokens:
Earlier this year we applied for the Tesco Community Grant to make improvements to our outdoor areas around school. We are pleased to say that our application was successful!
This means when you shop at Tesco and are given a little blue token to put in the box our school will feature on one of those boxes. This started on Saturday, 1st October, and runs all the way through to January.
It would be amazing if you could support our school by choosing the ‘Gomersal St Mary’s box’ for your token. The more tokens we get the bigger the grant for school!

Coffee Morning:
All welcome to our informal Coffee /Tea mornings (drink and natter). These are held every Tuesday after dropping your children off at School (8.45 till 10.00am). Under school age children welcome too as there are lots of toys for them to play with. Please join us in the Children’s Centre with Mrs Priestley suppling the drinks and biscuits.
