Mrs Bell made the most of the glorious weather by taking today’s clarinet lesson outside. We marched across the playground playing Hot Cross buns in 3 part harmony, with a percussive clapping section!

Before the Easter break, Year 5 created 2 raps about anti-bullying.
In French this half term, Year 5 have made chocolate mousse. We prepared the ingredients, and recipe in French, then produced this film to show you how it’s made! Louis said, “We got messy! I really enjoyed making the video. We had lots of fun and learnt some French!”
Today, we held our annual Easter service at St. Mary’s Church. Years 3 & 4 took the service alongside Reverend Karen and told us all about the events leading up to Easter Sunday. Thank you to all the relatives of those children who were able to join us.

Today, 5 guitar teachers from Musica Kirklees visited us for a ukulele workshop. Our Year 6 children learnt how to play Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer! They learnt two chords, C7 and F.
