We are a food bank set up by Cleckheaton Churches Together. We began our work in March 2020, as part of the community response to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Gomersal St Mary’s are proud to give our continual support to our local food bank in Cleckheaton.
Together we can make a big difference to local families who are struggling to make ends meet; it does not have to be a bag full of food, just one item added to your weekly shopping list – supermarkets own brands are fine. Items can be left at the school office.
A reminder of items needed:
Anything non-perishable is okay, but these things are in short supply:
- Tinned vegetables
- Tinned potatoes
- Tinned meat or fish
- Tinned rice pudding
- Tinned or packet custard
- Instant dessert (like Angel Delight – but own supermarket brand is good)
- UHT Milk
- Breakfast Cereal
- Coffee
- Tea Bags
