Classes for next year

Below are the classes for next year. As you can see we have 2 split age classes. If this applies to you, you will receive a separate letter about which class your child is in.

There will also be additional support staff in each class.

On Tuesday 4^th July we will be having our transition day when each class will spend the day with next year’s teacher. They should go to their new classroom when they arrive and will be collected from the same class at the end of the day.

Year 2 children DO NOT need to wear their new uniform, but can still wear the green jumpers. They will not have PE on this day. As they will be classed as Year 3 children on this day they will not have lunch until 12.15pm. They will have their snack at playtime which should be a piece of fruit. Milk will still be available.

Year 6 children should go straight to their High Schools in the morning and NOT come to our school first.

Reception children should enter their class from the playground gate (near the current Year 1 door). Only Nursery children will go down the separate path.

Reports

We will be sending out your child’s end of year report on Friday 7^th July. These will be sent by email. If you are unsure as to whether we have your correct email address, please check with Mrs Grant in the school office.

Summer concert costumes

Here is a list of the costumes we would like children to wear for the summer concert:

Early Years	anything bright coloured and sensible footwear (pumps or trainers)
Year 1	anything tropical/ floral or a bright bold colour
Year 2	jungle colours or animal patterns from the jungle
Year 3	school uniform
Year 4	black shorts or tracksuit bottoms or leggings and brightly coloured/summery T shirts
Year 5	anything that is inspired by Elton John or anything glittery
Year 6	60s inspired or anything colourful

Cleckheaton Foodbank Week

Starting on Monday 10^th July we are launching our food bank week when we will be taking donations for Cleckheaton Foodbank. You can bring your donation to the Summer Concert or drop it off at the gate at the beginning, or end of the day. We will then send all donations to the food bank on Friday 14^th July.

School Uniform Donations

Thank you to all who have donated school uniform – If you are able to donate clean uniform in good condition, we would be very grateful. We are currently short of KS1 and 2 school cardigans, KS1 school jumpers and school summer dresses. Our Uniform Bank offers good quality uniform free to children in school. Thank you for your help.

Residential Payments

For those pupils going to London the next payment of £60 is due by the 30^th June.

Please make sure these payments are made on time as they are linked to our payment deadlines with the companies organising the trips. Thank you.

ParentPay accounts

It is essential that you make every effort to clear your Parent Pay accounts for Breakfast Club, Tea Time Club, Nursery and lunches. From September, payments for Tea Time Club and Breakfast Club must be made prior to your child staying. Therefore, all accounts need to be settled before the end of the summer holidays. If you have questions regarding this, please speak to school.
