Dear Parents/carers,

Sports Day

Thank you to everyone who came to join in our sports day yesterday. We had a lovely weather for such a wonderful community event. Well done to all our participants young and old(er). Thank you also to all the staff who made it happen, especially Miss Byram who pulled it all together. There are lots of brilliant pictures on our Facebook page including some of the Nursery sports fun that took place in the morning.

Residential Payments

For those pupils going to Robinwood the next payment of £40 is due by the 25^th June.

For those pupils going to London the next payment of £60 is due by the 30^th June.

Please make sure these payments are made in time as they are linked to our payment deadlines with the companies organising the trips. Thank you.

Marie Curie Garden Party

Marie Curie Fundraising Group are holding a Garden Party in Birstall on Saturday 17^th June, 10am – 4pm. I have attached a leaflet with more information. If you can please pop along to support this worthwhile cause.

ParentPay accounts

It is essential that you make every effort to clear your Parent Pay accounts for Breakfast Club, Tea Time Club, Nursery and lunches. From September payments for Tea Time Club and Breakfast Club must be made prior to your child staying. Therefore, all accounts need to be settled before the end of the summer holidays. If you have questions regarding this, please speak to school.

Tax Free Childcare

Gomersal St.Mary’s is now registered to accept Tax Free Childcare Vouchers to help pay for Breakfast Club and Tea Time Club.

Tax Free Childcare is a Government Scheme that pays 20% of childcare costs up to a maximum of £2000 per year. The scheme is open to all parents of children under the age of 12.

To be eligible for the Tax Free Childcare Scheme, you must be working and if you have a partner they must work too, and you must not be receiving any support through Tax Credits or Universal Credit.
