Dear Parents/carers,

Parents Evening

Thank you to everyone who came to parents evening this week. However there were a number of families who didn’t make an appointment or couldn’t make it on the day. It is very important that you come and speak to your child’s class teacher about their progress so please make every effort to make an appointment.

Mother’s Day

Treat that special person in your life this Mother’s Day. On Thursday 16th March children will have the opportunity to choose a gift and the gift wrap it, all for £3.50. If you would like your child to take part, please pay on ParentPay by Friday 10th March.

Red Nose Day

Red Nose Day is on Friday 17th March and children are invited to wear something red or something with a funny theme. We are not going to ask for money, but instead we would appreciate a donation for the food bank. Our Lent Appeal is to support a local food bank and currently their need is as great as ever.

However Red Nose Day is an amazing charity and so if you would like to make a donation you can do so by following this link:

Old uniform request

We are really short of bigger sizes in jumpers and cardigans. If you have any that your children have grown out of we would really appreciate it if you could donate them to school.

Internet Safety

We all want children to be able to enjoy exploring the internet safely. Parental controls and safety settings can help parents with this by giving them the ability to put limits on what their child can do and see when they’re on screens. Vodafone have developed Digital Parenting Pro, one of the UK’s largest parental controls and safety settings resources, which helps parents discover what settings are available across some of the most popular apps, games and devices. And their Parental controls & safety settings checklist gives parents 5 key questions to ask themselves before using these features.
