Dear Parents/carers

World Book Day:

Our children looked amazing as they dressed up for World Book Day. From children in their pyjamas ready to snuggle up with a good book to those dressed in a variety of costumes representing well known book characters, it was wonderful to see our pupils engage with this special day. Thank you for all the effort put in from home too.

We had a lovely day on the 10th February eating pancakes with a variety of toppings. Thank you for all your kind donations. We are going to use the money raised to buy some new playtime equipment.

Parents Evening:

Our next parents evenings will take place on Tuesday 7th March and Wednesday 8th March. Appointments can be made using the online system:

You should ahve been sent a guide showing you how to make appointments.

The times are:

  • Tuesday 7th March: 4.00 – 6.30pm
  • Wednesday 8th March: 3.30 – 6.00pm

Please make every effort to make an appointment. If you can’t make these dates, please can you contact school to arrange an alternative booking.

As Mrs Wilson is currently absent, class 3 will have their parents evening when she returns.

You are now able to book appointments until Monday 6th March at midnight.

After School clubs start again this week on Wednesdays and Fridays. They run from 3pm to 4.10pm and all years are welcome.

Class photos:

Class photos will be taken on Thursday 9th March.

School Uniform Bank:

If you are able to donate any uniform in good condition, we would be very grateful.  We are particularly short of KS1 cardigans for girls.

Please can I ask that you check your child’s head regularly for headlice. We have had a few cases in school and so it is important that this is being treated so we can keep on top of this condition. Thank you for your support.

Tea-time Club:

Don’t forget our tea-time club is open to help you with childcare needs. It is open from 3pm to 6pm. There are 2 prices for tea-time club: up until 5pm it is £7.50 whereas after this it is £10. Children will get a light tea and drinks during this time. Please book your child in with the school office to avoid disappointment.

Breakfast Club:

Don’t forget that Breakfast Club is now open from 7.30am.

Coffee Morning:

All welcome to our informal Coffee /Tea mornings (drink and natter). These are held every Tuesday after dropping your children off at School (8.45 till 10.00am).
