Dear Parents/carers
Big Question:
What is forgiveness?
Is it easy to forgive?
Each week we focus on a Big Question in school. This forms the focus of worship and discussions. We thought we would share this each week on the newsletter so that you can chat about it at home.
Food Bank Friday:
Thank you for all your support today. Your donations have, as always, been very generous. I know the Food Bank will be delighted with the quantity and range of products we have collected.
Non-uniform for Eli:

Don’t forget we are holding a non-uniform day for Eli on Monday 28th March. As Eli’s favourite colour is red we thought we would choose this colour as our theme. Please make a donation on this day towards the family’s travel costs to support Eli’s treatment.
Tea-Time Club:
Please remember that if you require Tea-Time Club it is better if you can book in advance. We are having to turn people down as we are full so please call or email the school office in plenty of time to make sure you get a place.
Mrs Wharton and Miss Hacking
SMASH:
SMASH make a real difference to our school. They run activities that the children really love and raise important funds for our school which pay for special extra pieces of equipment! SMASH are looking for someone to take over. If you think you could be the right person, please get in touch to discuss what the role entails.
Future Dates:
Easter scene competition:
After years of brilliant entries, we are running our Easter egg competition again. This involves you creating a design using hard boiled/blown eggs. The theme this year is ‘Best of British’ to tie in with celebrating the Queen’s Jubilee. Ideas can incorporate landmarks, food, famous people, transport, basically anything linked to Britain. Please bring your entries into school on Monday 4th April where they will be judged, and a prize will be awarded for the winner from each class.
Easter Egg raffle:
We are having an Easter Egg raffle on Thursday 7th April. Each child will be given a raffle ticket and then we will draw the winning tickets in the hall at Worship. There is no charge for the tickets, but if you would like to donate any eggs please drop them off at school before the big event.
Film Night on Wednesday 4th May.
Come and watch Encanto!
Our last Film Night was cancelled due to COVID restrictions. If you bought a ticket for that event this will be automatically transferred over to this Film Night unless you let us know otherwise. If you would like your child to attend this event, but have not bought a ticket before, you will have the opportunity to purchase one when the £3.00 ticket price is added to ParentPay.

Here are the training days for the next school year:

Monday 25th July 2022 |
