Dear Parents/carers,
SMASH:
After a break due to COVID, SMASH are keen to start up again and fundraise for our school. Their first meeting is at The Wickham Arms on Monday 8th November at 7.30pm. It would be lovely to see some new members so please come along and see how you can support our school. Please remember that you do not have to commit a huge amount of time if you help out.

Parents Evening:
Thank you to everyone who attended their parents evening appointment this week. I hope you found the meeting useful. I would be interested in hearing any feedback on how you felt the online meetings went.
Tea Time Club:

Movie night – Friday 22nd October
We’ve reached the end of this term, so we thought we’d celebrate!
Everyone enjoys watching a good movie with Popcorn, drinks, snacks and treats.
Come along and join us.
To book your child’s place, please call or email the School Office.
See you there.
Mrs Wharton and Miss Hacking
ParentPay:
Please make sure that you keep on top of your ParentPay account. We are concerned that some families end up owing quite a bit which can be difficult to manage. If you have any questions regarding this, please contact the school office.
Coffee morning:
Mrs Priestley is hosting a coffee morning on Tuesday 19th and Thursday 21st October. Call into the Children’s Centre as soon as you drop off your child for a coffee and a chat. This is just an informal get together so please come along.
Colder weather:
As the weather is turning colder please can you make sure your child brings a coat to school. We have had a number of children just in t-shirts even though it is very chilly.
Bikes and scooters:
Bikes and scooters encourage children to be active and we are more than happy that these are used to come to school. Children understand that they must get off them when they arrive at school as there is the risk of hurting someone. However, can you also please make sure children are closely supervised as they ride to school as we are aware of a number of incidents where adults and children have been hurt by speedy riders. Thank you.

The camps will run from Monday 25th October to Wednesday 27th October 10am-2pm.
