Dear Parents/carers
Twitter:
We have already started sharing activities on Twitter. If you haven’t already signed up to follow your child’s class Twitter account, please do so, so that you can see what they are up to. We share a range of activities that are taking place as well as award winners.
Changes to personal information:
If there are any changes to your child’s personal details e.g. contact phone number, address, contact details, email address, please let school know as it is essential that we have the correct details on file.
Walking home permissions and responsibilities:
Your child will have brought a letter and form home last week. We will allow pupils in Years 4, 5 and 6 to walk home on their own, but they must have permission. The form must be filled in even if they have been given permission before. We are also asking for names of anyone who may collect your child who doesn’t have parental responsibility or carer status. Please make sure that we have a form for each child to either give permission to walk home, or with details of other people who may collect your child from school.
Breakfast Club:
Just a reminder that Breakfast Club will now start at 7.45am. We hope that this will support more families getting back to work. We will still be limiting the number of pupils who can attend so please make sure you book ahead as we don’t want to be in a position where we have to turn pupils away. The cost of Breakfast Club is £3.50, or £1.50 for Pupil Premium children eg if you are entitled to income related free school meals.
Swimming (Year 4):
Swimming will now take place on a Monday morning. Children can come to school with their swimming kit under their PE uniform. We did have a few children who forgot their underwear this week so can you please double check they are in your child’s bag next week.
After School Clubs:
Our sports coaches will be running multi sports after school clubs starting next week. The cost will be £21 per child for a 6 week course. Please make sure you sign up straight away as there will be no reductions for a late start. You can sign your child up via your ParentPay account.
Reception and Years 1 and 2 will have their club on a Wednesday and Key Stage 2 will be on a Friday. Pick up time will be 4.10pm.
Unless it is a PE day, children should come to school in their normal uniform and get changed into their PE uniform at the end of the day.
Tea Time Club:

Thursday 23rd September: Hama Beads!
Time to get creative – make a gift for family or friends.
Will your design be in your favourite colours, your sport team colours or all the colours of the rainbow 🌈?
Let your imagination run free!
To book your child’s place, please call or email the School Office.
See you there.
Mrs Wharton and Miss Hacking
