Track and Trace:
If your child starts to show any COVID systems over this weekend, please get in touch with school via the office email (firstname.lastname@example.org) so we can complete contact tracing. From Monday 31st May you do not need to let us know. However please contact school as usual if your child is showing symptoms at the end of the holidays and won’t be returning to school.
Wear a hoodie for hoodies:
On Friday 18th June we are having a non-uniform day called ‘Wear a Hoodie for Hoodies’. As SMASH have been unable to raise money over the last year, we are using this non-uniform day to raise money towards the Year 6 leaver’s hoodies. We are asking for a contribution of £1 to wear non-uniform on this day including a hoodie if you have one.
We have been informed by Kirklees that our school will be used as a polling station on Thursday 1st July. This will be to elect a new MP to replace Tracy Brabin now that she has become Mayor of West Yorkshire. As before we will provide remote learning for the children.
Tea Time Club:
Eyes Down:- Knock at the door, 2 little ducks, top of the shop… come and join in the fun.
Prizes to be won.
Please call or email the School Office to book your child’s place.
See you after the holidays.
Mrs Wharton and Miss Hacking
