We aim to post two or three items per week so you won’t be bombarded, but it will be lovely to share what we have been up with with you. Why not ask your child about what’s been happening?
Tea Time Club
Come and join us on Friday 7th May.
We will be getting creative making Salt Dough Ornaments, for you to decorate and take home. Whether you make your handprint, your favourite animal or your own special design, it’s a wonderful keepsake or gift idea.
To book your child a place, please ring or email the school office.
We look forward to seeing you there.
Mrs Wharton & Miss Hacking.
Remote learning
Don’t forget that school will be closed next Thursday (6th May) as we are being used as a polling station. Remote learning will be provided for all pupils via Google Classroom or Sway depending which one you used in lockdown. The work will be monitored by school staff who will be on hand to offer support.
SMASH
SMASH are in urgent need of new members. Due to members leaving with their children this summer, we are in danger of losing SMASH altogether. Three members are required to act as treasurer and sign cheques. It would be a real shame if we were to lose SMASH as they not only provide our children with lots of fun experiences, but they also generate much needed funds for school. It does not require much of your time but would make a real difference. If you are interested please get in touch with us and we will pass your name onto SMASH.
Summer uniform
We have had a few questions regarding the colour of our summer dresses. Please can you purchase green and white checked summer dresses.
Pyjamarama
Pyjamarama is returning for a third time and will take place this year on Friday 14 May 2021.
Pyjamarama is all about getting children excited about reading, and fundraising to make sure every child gets their bedtime story.
We ask that children around the country, in schools and nurseries, and at home, spend a day reading, enjoying and sharing stories, all in the comfort of their pyjamas, and donate £1 to BookTrust to help all children have access to stories and to reading. Remember you do still need to come to school!
