It is very important that I consider the health and safety of our families and staff and so I have taken the decision to close school tomorrow. I understand that the Shirley Estate and surrounding area are still treacherous, and with the temperatures staying below freezing, it is unlikely that conditions will improve considerably before the morning.
By making this decision tonight I hope it gives you time to organise alternative childcare.
Please note that remote learning will still take place, including live lessons for key stage 2 classes.
