Christmas jumper day:
The children have all looked amazing today in their Christmas jumpers. Thank you very much for all of your kind donations which we will send to Save the Children.
Thank you to all the children who took part in our virtual Santa experience on Tuesday. It was a great success and it was lovely to see so many smiling faces.
Thank you very much to our school kitchen for producing such a lovely Christmas Dinner on Wednesday.
We will be writing out the tickets for the raffle draw on Monday so please don’t miss out on the opportunity to take part. Tickets can be bought on ParentPay for £1 each. You are able to buy up to 5 each. The first prize is a fabulous Christmas hamper – definitely worth winning! Other prizes include biscuits, sweets, a large bear and wine!
As you may know your child has been involved in preparing a Christmas performance. Unfortunately we are unable to put on live performances so we have recorded 3 performances: Early years, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. We will let you know when they go live on our school website. I am sure you will love sitting and watching them with your children.
We will still be able to have parties this year, but we will not be asking families to bring in any food. However children can come in non-uniform on their party day if they wish. The parties will take place in the afternoon. Please remember that they will be wearing this all day though so their best party outfits may not be the best choice.
- Early years: Wednesday 16th December
- Year 1 and 2: Wednesday 16th December
- Years 3 and 4: Thursday 17th December
- Years 5 and 6: Friday 18th December (am)
Friday 18th December:
You may have heard that the Government has suggested that schools take a training day on Friday 18th December. Please note we will NOT be doing this and school will be open as normal.
The deadline for ordering school milk is Sunday 13th December. This is available to children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2. The cost is £11.50 and will cover the period from January to April. If you wish to order milk for your child, please do this on Parentpay.
After School Club:
There are still spaces available in our after school club next week so if you need to do some last-minute shopping, or other Christmas preparations, please see Mrs Earnshaw to make a booking.
Yours sincerely, Miss J. Barker
