Dear parent/carer,
Thank you very much for all your support this half term. It has certainly been different and I am so proud of all our children and how well they have coped with the changes in routine.
Swimming:
Swimming is going to start back on Monday 9th November for year 4 only. It will then continue on Mondays. Children should come to school in their PE kit, bringing their swimming kit in a bag. This swimming lesson will replace Tuesday’s PE lesson so children should come to school in uniform on a Tuesday. It is hoped that it won’t be too long before Year 3 can go swimming as well.
Contact forms:
Please make sure all contact forms are returned on the Tuesday after the holidays. We are receiving many without an email address. It is essential that we have an email address as we will soon be using these for communicating information with families.
Photograph orders:
Please make sure that all online orders have to be submitted by Wednesday 28th October. However, if you are handing them in to school the deadline is Wednesday 4th November. After this, you will have to pay postage as well.
COVID:
If you need to contact school over the half term due to positive test results, please use the office email address. This is important as we may need to act on information given in preparation for the new half term.
Christmas Secret Santa:
SMASH are still planning on running Secret Santa this year. They have thought very carefully about how this can be organised in a safe way and we are delighted that this will still take place. Look out for more details after the holidays.
Training Day:
Please note that there is a staff training day on Monday 2nd November. Children will therefore return on Tuesday 3rd November.
