Welcome Service
Reverend Karen joined us on Wednesday to welcome our new starters in Early Years. Usually, we would have celebrated this in Church, but under the new regulations, we had a small gathering in our hall. Afterwards, the children were presented with a Bible stories collection.
Non-uniform Day
On Friday 9th October we will be having a non-uniform day to collect items for the food bank. This is part of the WE schools project for Year 3 ‘We Scare Hunger’. Therefore children may wear non-uniform on this day in return for bringing an item for the food bank. Items will be collected in the classrooms.
PE dress code
Please can I remind you that children are asked to wear black/navy blue/white colours for PE. Staff have mentioned that a number of children are wearing football shirts and brightly coloured clothing which is not acceptable. Please make sure that your child has the correct clothing on PE days.
Local lockdown
During class discussions children have mentioned that they spend time in other children’s houses. Please can you help us reinforce the lockdown rules by ensuring children know what they are permitted to do.
Bikeability
Bikeability starts next week for Year 5 pupils. Please make sure you have all the information regarding the days your child is taking part and the equipment/clothing needed.
Robinwood refunds
All Robinwood refunds have now been made. Please let us know if you have not received the correct money.
Absence
Please can you make sure that you ring school before 9.30am if your child is going to be absent.
COVID reminder
If anyone in your household has symptoms of COVID, everyone else in the house must isolate until the test results have been received. If they are negative your child can return to school, however if it is positive, then an isolation period of 14 days must take place before they can come back. If you are isolating please let us know so that work can be provided.
