Pentecost Service 20181 minute read

Today we celebrated Pentecost at church.

Pentecost is the festival when Christians celebrate the gift of the Holy Spirit. It is celebrated on the Sunday 50 days after Easter (the name comes from the Greek pentekoste, “fiftieth”).

Pentecost is regarded as the birthday of the Christian church, and the start of the church’s mission to the world.

Year 4 lead the school in the service by sharing art work and poetry.

Thanks to all families and relatives who were able to join us at the service.

Mr Pitts currently teaches Computing to the whole school along with some other subjects during teacher's PPA time. He runs this website and makes sure it all works smoothly, most of the time!
