This week saw Year 4 share their hard work this half term in their class presentation. We heard all about the Ancient Egyptians and saw a wonderful dance as well as some amazing rapping! Thank you to all the families that joined us for this presentation.
This week, we had a visit from Travelling By Tuba group, Chris and Stewart. The whole school enjoyed their performances and were wowed by a range of instruments from throughout British history.
Last Friday we supported the Text Santa Christmas Jumper Day appeal. Text Santa is ITV’s annual fundraising appeal that aims to give hope to families in difficulty. Our Reception and Nursery pupils performed their Christmas play, ‘The Tiptoe Nativity’ to parents, families and friends this morning and afternoon. Thank you very much to everyone who dressed up and donated to Children In Need this year. As you can see below, the children looked amazing and it is fabulous that we can offer so much support to this brilliant cause. This year we raised £216.
As you can see we have a packed half term so please read future letters and texts closely which will provide more details on these events. Many thanks for all your support. Yours sincerely, Miss J. Barker
This weekend saw the school open up on Saturday for a gardening party. Members of staff worked alongside many families from school to tidy up our school grounds. The difference is astounding and we are very grateful to everyone who brought tools to help out!
