It was a little messy in nursery as we made dough hedgehogs. We used scissors to snip the dough to make the hedgehog spines and used currants for the eyes and nose.

On Tuesday, we held our attendance assembly, giving certificates to children who have been at school for 99% of the year! 40 children received certificates for 100% attendance this year. 100% Attenders: 99%+ Attenders:
As part of our links to other local schools in the Ten Primaries Partnership, we hold regular events together as mini-competitions. Our school council decided that we should have a scarecrow making competition. However, the event was rained off. This didn’t stop our Year 6 children from making them the other week though!
On Monday evening these 36 children attended our Leavers’ Presentation. The children performed a song that they had been learning called “Sunshine in my heart”. This Thursday saw our annual Sports Day & Fun Afternoon being held. The weather wasn’t the best we’ve ever had, but we battled through the drizzle to have a really successful day.
