This week we were treated to a Roman-themed class presentation from Year 4, when three of their children were transported back in time in our school hall! Thank you to all parents and families who could join us.

Yesterday we held our annual Easter Bonnet competition at school. The children all looked fabulous in their creations and congratulations to all our winning entries! We also held our usual Easter Egg raffle in the same worship time.

On Tuesday, we held our attendance assembly, giving certificates to children who have been at school for 99% of the year! 40 children received certificates for 100% attendance this year. 100% Attenders: 99%+ Attenders:

From the Spenborough Guardian website: Pirates took to the catwalk instead of the plank when they showed off their swashbuckling styles. Pupils from Gomersal St Mary’s Primary School dressed up as pirates and performed a song and fashion show for delighted parents to raise money for the Forget Me Not children’s hospice.
