We celebrated our latest winners of our SMASH Awards in school recently. The awards are chosen by staff for those children who do something a little extra in school all the time. Here are our photos!
Yesterday we held our annual Easter Bonnet competition at school. The children all looked fabulous in their creations and congratulations to all our winning entries! We also held our usual Easter Egg raffle in the same worship time.
As always, our fabulous SMASH supporters have donated awards for children who have done that little bit extra this term. On Tuesday, we held our attendance assembly, giving certificates to children who have been at school for 99% of the year! 40 children received certificates for 100% attendance this year. 100% Attenders: 99%+ Attenders:

From the Spenborough Guardian website: Pirates took to the catwalk instead of the plank when they showed off their swashbuckling styles. Pupils from Gomersal St Mary’s Primary School dressed up as pirates and performed a song and fashion show for delighted parents to raise money for the Forget Me Not children’s hospice.
