The elves are holding an end of Christmas dance-off. They need 2 hours of music. Each song is approximately 2.5 minutes long. How many songs do they need for their dance-off?

Mr Pitts currently teaches Computing to the whole school along with some other subjects during teacher’s PPA time. He runs this website and makes sure it all works smoothly, most of the time!

    2 hours is 120 minutes in minutes. 120 minutes divided by 2.5 is 48 songs.

    48 SONGS! 2.5 X 4 = 10 MINS SO 4 X 6 = 24 SONGS AN HOUR
    24 X 2 = 48 SONGS IN 2 HOURS
