School Updates: Friday, 18th November 2016

Thank you very much for all the contributions for Children in Need. I’m sure we will end up with a significant amount of money. A total will be shared as soon as we have it.  The children look fabulous in their outfits and we very much appreciate the effort that has gone into these.

We have two members of staff who are on a longer period of absence at the moment.  Mrs Jolliff has badly broken her foot and will still be off for some time. Mrs Hemingway is in need of an operation and will be away for a couple of weeks.  We wish them both well and a speedy recovery.

Since we have installed the bicycle racks at the front of school we are having a few problems with children playing in the gravel before and after school.  This means that the gravel is spreading across the path and is creating a hazard where people can easily slip.  Please can you ensure your children do not enter the gravel so we can reduce this risk.

We still have places available in the after school. Please contact school if you are interested in booking your child in.  Next week’s timetable will be:

  • Monday:  Movie night – make your own popcorn and snacks
  • Tuesday: Baking Day
  • Wednesday: Games and activities inside and out
  • Thursday: Den building and treasure hunt
  • Friday: Arts and crafts

If you have any further questions, please contact school.

Yours sincerely, Miss J. Barker
