I hope you all had a lovely Easter holiday and we are now embarking on our final term of the year.
I would like to highlight for you some of the key events for this half term:
|Date||Event||Time||Who is it for?|
|2nd May 2016||Bank Holiday||School will be closed|
|5th May 2015||Polling day/training day||School will be closed|
|9th May to 13th May 2015||Year 6 SATs week||It is essential that all children are in school on time each day.||Year 6 pupils|
|11th May 2016||Reception class presentation||2:30pm||Reception families|
|18th May 2016||Happy Hour||2:00 to 3:00 pm||Years 1, 2, 3 and 4|
|19th May 2016||Happy Hour||2:00 to 3:00 pm||Nursery (pm), Reception, Year 5 and 6|
|25th May 2015||Year 1 class presentation||2:30 pm||Year 1 families|
We are delighted with the success of our Happy Hour events, however as a result we are finding the classrooms are becoming crowded. Please can we ask that up to 2 adults per child visit the session and I would recommend that younger children stay at home.
Can I also draw your attention to the fact that school is also going to be used as a polling station for the forthcoming referendum vote. This means that school will be closed on Thursday 23rd June.
Year 1 and Year 3 should have received letters about outdoor learning which starts next week. If you have not received a letter please contact school.
There are also some places still available for after school clubs. If you are interested please contact the school office.
Many thanks for your continuing support.
Yours sincerely, Miss J. Barker
