Nursery Proposal: April 2016

We are looking to offer families the option to pay for additional sessions on top of their current 5 mornings/5 afternoons.

As we believe it is important for children to attend Nursery 5 days a week to prepare them for Reception. Therefore the option to move from 5 daily sessions to 2 ½ days is not an option at the present time.

If your child currently attends morning Nursery then you can buy additional afternoon sessions at a cost of £12.00. This will provide supervision over lunchtime from 11.30 – 12.15 and then education provision from 12.15 – 3.15pm. Your child can have a hot school dinner for an additional charge of £2.00 or bring a packed lunch.

If your child currently attends afternoon Nursery then you can buy additional morning sessions at a cost of £12.00. Your child can have a hot school dinner for an additional charge of £2.00 or bring a packed lunch. Breakfast club can also be accessed from 8.10am at a current cost of 50p per day.

To ensure we have appropriate staffing and resources, we require a commitment for a half term at a time. This commitment identifies which days you would like to take up additional sessions and if you require a school dinner for your child.  Unfortunately these cannot be taken on an ad hoc basis. Additional sessions and lunches can be paid for monthly or half termly.

If there is enough interest we are aiming to start this initiative from the 11th April.  Therefore we would require a firm commitment by the 18th March so that everything can be in place before the Easter holidays. A commitment form will be handed out w/b 14th March (available below) and will be followed by a confirmation letter from school highlighting the arrangements for after the Easter holidays. If there is not enough interest to make extra sessions viable then we will continue with the current arrangements.

If you have any questions, or are interested in this, please speak contact school.
