I hope you all enjoyed the Bank Holiday weekend. Next week is an important week for our Year 6 pupils as they take their SAT exams. I wish them all the best; I know they will all do their best.
Miss Joyce has also been working hard reorganising the reading scheme books into book bands. Therefore you may find that your child’s reading book moves to a different stage. This should be a more accurate match to your child’s reading ability. If you have any questions regarding this, please see your child’s class teacher or Mrs Woodcock.
The Governors have recently approved three new policies which you can view on this website – the links are below. Paper copies can also be requested from the school office. These policies are: the Homework Policy, the Collective Worship Policy and the Spiritual, Moral, Social and Cultural Policy.
We have also replaced the packed lunch trolleys with boxes in the classrooms and, as a result, there are a number of unclaimed lunchboxes. These are in a box in the school entrance so if you think there could be one in there belonging to your child, please can you check on Monday. The remaining lunch boxes will be disposed of on Tuesday.
Many thanks for your ongoing support.
Miss J. Barker.
