Christmas Facts Advent Calendar: Day 23 – Boxing Day

Boxing Day is usually celebrated the day after Christmas on December 26th.

Christmas boxes were made of wood or clay and people placed gifts in them. Boxing Day was the day Christmas boxes were opened and shared with the poor.

Some people still make Christmas boxes and send them to people all over the world.
