This week in Class Two we have hardly stopped working on varied projects.
We had two visits from Reverend Karen who helped the children complete their Easter picture of The Last Supper. The work will be on show with others from all the classes in school in St. Mary’s Church over the Easter period.
We have also had a visit from the Dog Warden team who explained different aspects of dog care and awareness to the children. Tina, the dog warden, also brought her very friendly dog Arthur to visit, which was a super addition to an already interesting talk.
Then we had pedestrian training covering all aspects of street safety. This was a practical demonstration and the children all enjoyed getting out of class and learning in the fresh (cold) air.
We have also been making gifts and cards for Mother’s Day. We would like to wish all the mums out there a peaceful day and we hope you like the things we have made. All the children enjoyed making the presents and cards – we have all been covered in glue and tissue paper at some time this week!
