Christmaths Advent Calendar 2013: Day 1

This year’s Christmaths Advent Calendar will have a question for every day in December up to and including Christmas Day, each one featuring a new mathematical challenge.

A length of tape is 135 centimetres long.

It is cut into two pieces.

You are both correct. The remaining piece would be 90cm long.

Have a lovely half term break! See you back on Tuesday, 31st October.
