Harvest Appeal

Each year in school we have two appeals, one at Harvest time and the other at Easter.  We do this as part of our church school ethos of charitable giving.  It encourages children to think about other people and how we can help to make a difference to their lives.  We support projects both local and global.  This year we have decided to support St Mary’s Church, in supporting the homeless in Dewsbury.  To do this we are having a Non-Uniform day on Friday 4th October.  The theme will be a pyjama day, so children can come to school in pyjamas and bring items of food (tins, packets etc.) please.

We will be taking the children to St Mary’s Church for a short Harvest Service to be conducted by Rev. Lisa.  Sorry, on this occasion we are unable to accommodate parents due to the increased number of children in school and the capacity of the church.

Mr Pitts currently teaches Computing to the whole school along with some other subjects during teacher's PPA time. He runs this website and makes sure it all works smoothly, most of the time!
