Operation Christmas Child 2012: School Council with some of the boxes.

Last Christmas 1.1 million children received a special shoebox gift thanks to the commitment of people who were willing to support Operation Christmas Child. Year 2 Teacher Miss Emma Callow said, ‘The shoe boxes bring such happiness to the children who receive them and being part of Operation Christmas Child helps our children to think about others at Christmas and teaches them the importance of giving to others less fortunate. Our children have also worked hard to raise money to pay for the postage to send the shoe boxes to their destination countries.’
