Remembrance Service 20121 minute read

Today we held our annual Remembrance Service at St. Mary’s Church.

Our new Year 6 class took the service, leading us through a short history behind the poppy as a symbol of remembrance. The service featured a beautiful rendition of We’ll Meet Again, made famous by Vera Lynn, from Sarah, Phoebe and Anna. We ended the service by laying poppies made by every child in school.
